The European TexMatrix project is developing a matrix for innovation in the textile sector, from which an e-learning course will be developed to increase innovation management strategies in textile companies across Europe. In partnership with European counterparts and partners of this Erasmus+ project, a matrix for the benchmarking questionnaire on Innovation Management in the textile sector was created, which has already been tested in two Portuguese companies, examples of innovation: Fiorima SA and P&R Têxteis SA.
During the month of June the benchmarking study process will take place to identify the state-of-art of textile companies in Portugal and in 3 other European countries (Romania, Slovenia and Italy). The purpose is to learn how companies in this sector manage and foster innovation and creativity, by involving their employees and creating new strategies. The TexMatrix project directly involves 50 textile companies in Europe, that by participating in the questionnaire study will enable the writing of a report on the state-of-the-art of innovation in the sector.
TecMinho invites textile companies interested in collaborating with us to answer this online questionnaire so we can learn about what the company does or intends to do in the scope of innovation management. The online questionnaire takes about 20 minutes to answer. Each answer will contribute to the conception and implementation of an e-learning training course suited to the needs of textile companies across Europe.
Companies interested in participating in the study through this online innovation benchmarking questionnaire should send their contact details (name of respondent and position, e-mail and company ID) to elearning@tecminho.uminho.pt or contact TecMinho via phone at 253 510 590. The interested party will then be provided with access details to the online questionnaire. |
