This event included the presentation of 7 selected technologies of the University of Minho’s portfolio in the healthcare field, such as fabric engineering, neurology, medical devices and infectious diseases. Also, various parallel meetings made it possible to establish collaborations to stimulate research being developed at UMinho.

On the 29th of March, TecMinho was present at “Meetings with Health Innovation of Health Cluster Portugal”, which took place at i3S – Health Research and Innovation Institute of the University of Porto. During the debate, reknown institutions in the healthcare field discussed various themes, such as the Enterprise Europe Network programme, the importance of “Open Innovation” concept and the potential of the health sector as a driving force of the country’s economy. Keeping focus, at all times, on the research, development and innovation carried out in Portugal in this field.

This event represents na excelente opportunity to introduce the U. Norte Inova project, its mission and set of actions designed to promote innovation and transfer of knowledge from academia to industry.
