Led by TecMinho and created under the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, the Green EYE project aims to support potential entrepreneurs in the creation of their own business, and to give host entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop competitiveness and boost the growth of their company through mutual learning and collaboration. Green EYE is aimed at the emerging green economy sector: renewable energy, environment, transport, sustainability, waste management and eco-efficiency.
New entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, good practices and get to know different working methods relevant to starting up or strengthening their entrepreneurial project, together with experienced entrepreneurs in another European country. Host entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to work with entrepreneurial projects suggested by the new entrepreneurs, acting as mentors, allowing, in this way, to optimize the business of their company or to increase the knowledge about other potential and relevant markets to the business.
The new entrepreneur will receive a grant financed by the program to cover their stay during the exchange, which may last from two to three months. The registration process for new entrepreneurs and host entrepreneurs must be made online. To find out more about the application requirements, click here.
The "Green EYE" project is a European Union initiative funded under the COSME Program (2014-2020) to be coordinated in Portugal by TecMinho, with the partners Van Der Meer & Van Tilburg (Netherlands), Almacube SRL ( Italy), University of Aalborg (Denmark) and the University of Economics of Krakow (Poland).
