A delegation from TecMinho's e-learning Centre was in Mozambique to install and set up a platform for distance learning that will be used as part of the ARCTEL Training Centre, the network of regulators of telecommunications of portuguese speaking countries (CPLP). The mission was carried out jointly with the Portuguese telecom regulator, ANACOM.
This first step of the TecMinho partnership project with ARCTEL Training Centre will enhance the articulated development of classroom courses in CPLP countries, with an extension in the e-learning platform during 2016.
Thus, trainees and trainers of the courses promoted by ARCTEL Training Centre will continue to provide educational communication distance after the face to face courses, which will provide better learning and problem solving.
The preparation of the e-learning platfomr lasted for a week in Maputo. In addition to including the configuration and installation of the platform server of the National Institute of Mozambique Communications (INCM), the TecMinho team (Ana Dias e Inácio Menezes), in conjunction with the representative of ANACOM, João Chaves, held two workshops with technical and leaders of the INCM, dedicated to e-learning issues and their implementation within the ARCTEL activities.
The delegation of TecMinho had also opportunity to meet with the Faculty of Engineering (University Eduardo Mondlane), opening the possibility to establish a protocol and study of e-learning Panorama in Mozambique.
