Marta Catarino, Director of Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship of TecMinho, was elected President of ASTP-Proton, at a meeting held by that association in Amsterdam.

The ASTP-Proton is the European association of appreciation of professional knowledge and transfer of university-industry technology. Results from the merger in 2013 of ASTP and Proton Europe associations and aggregates, currently about 650 members from 41 countries. It is engaged in the formation, training and sharing of best practices among professionals and organizations in the area, as well as serve as a platform for national promotion of knowledge networks.
