The European project team IDC-VET is already developing an interactive tool for evaluating the digital skills of teachers and trainers, using the DigCompEdu framework. The project aims to develop digital skills in teachers/trainers of vocational education and training, in particular in aspects related to digital technologies to facilitate the development of up-to-date and efficient learning materials.

Later, TecMinho and the IDC-VET partner entities will develop a set of learning materials and scenarios to be used by teachers and trainers in their educational contexts, more specifically in the metalworking, tourism and social sectors. In this work, TecMinho also counts on the collaboration of a student of masters degree from the Institute of Education of UMinho, who participates in the development of work and supports the application of the evaluation instrument to teachers and trainers of professional education in their respective areas.
Last week, a meeting of the consortium of partners who are collectively developing this work took place.
The partnership of this Erasmus+ project includes representatives from Lithuania, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
