The seminar "Proofs of concept of research results: challenges, opportunities and success cases of IProof20" will be held on the 14th of November. The initiative will take place in the auditorium of the Institute for Bio-Sustainability (IB-S), in Gualtar (Braga), at 9h15.

The existence of acceleration mechanisms, clearly focused on the objectives and needs of companies and society, which guide the exploitation of research results approaching them from the market, has been essential to the success of the valorisation of knowledge generated in european universities. This event will discuss the importance of proofs of concept in accelerating research results, including the recent example of the iProof20 model, through the presentation of the six developed proofs of concept.

Prior to the presentation of these successful cases, the program includes also a session on the impact of the proof of concept funds, dynamized by the international expert Fernando Conesa, and a session on the impact of the iProof model on the IDI panorama.

A roundtable will be followed, where the importance of proof-of-concept funds in technological development wiil be discussed, with several guests. During the afternoon, mentoring sessions will be held in flash consulting format, where the promoters of the iproof20 projects will have the opportunity to meet with the panel of invited experts who will support TecMinho in the following steps of accelerating these Projects.
