Bioresorbable and flexible membranes exhibiting asymmetric osteoconductive behavior in both faces
The present invention concerns the preparation of a flexible composite membrane, biocompatible and bioresorbable that contains inorganic osteoconductive elements with a gradient of concentration along the thickness or an asymmetric concentration of such elements in both sides. This invention may be applied to medicine or veterinarian medicine, for both regenerative therapies related to mineralized tissues or implantology.

Application of Monoolein as new lipid adjuvant for lipofection
This invention concerns the use of cationic monoolein-based lipid systems for the complexation, transport and transfection of genetic material into target cells. The lipid systems are prepared through the conjugation of the neutral lipid Monoolein with cationic amphiphiles derived from DODAX.This lipofection method can be applied “in vitro” for investigation in Molecular Biology, as well as “in vivo” for Gene Therapy purposes, presenting high levels of biocompatibility and commercial value.

Keyboard based in polymer, copolymer or composites with piezo- and/or pyroelectric properties and respective use
| University of Minho presents a new keyboard based in a polymeric, copolymeric or composite film with piezo- and pyroelectric properties capable of receiving a tactile signal and giving a response in the form of an electrical signal.
The invention allows the use of just one piezoelectric film without external power supply as well as the possibility of introduction of new functionalities in these keyboards similar to the ones of tactile sensors.
This technology already has an exclusive license. |

GOLF BALLS COLECTOR SYSTEM
The University of Minho developed a new electric traction platform with computer vision for outdoor environments, which can act autonomously with the environment or be tele-operated. This vehicle has a trailer attached to it which allows, among other functions, to carry out the picking up task of golf balls in driving ranges.

Laboratorial extrusion line for the production of conventional and bi-oriented tubular film, with simple commutation between the two techniques
The University of Minho developed a laboratorial extrusion line that has the ability to be used both for the production of conventional and bi-oriented tubular film (monolayer or multilayer), with simple commutation between the two techniques. The use of some of the components enables the production of conventional tubular film, while another set of components is used to produce bi-oriented tubular film.
